National Senior Citizen’s Day

Saturday, August 21, 2021

Elders are the backbone of the Black family! Their wisdom and experience are essential to the maintenance of our families, our growth as individuals, and our survival as a people. We love them. We honor them. Do you have an elder in your life that you love and appreciate? National Senior Citizens Day is one day to let them know how much you care and it’s an opportunity to recognize their accomplishments. Today, elders are still active in their communities as well as

continuing to have a strong presence in the workforce.  For all they do and have achieved for the good of their communities, the elders deserve our thanks!
